About Invasive Species International
New Zealand practitioners are internationally recognised as being at the ‘cutting edge’ of invasive species management. We are world leaders in eradicating or controlling invasive species, while our biosecurity programmes are amongst the most effective and are emulated by a number of countries.
Landcare Research, which has been influential in many of New Zealand’s most successful invasive species projects, established Invasive Species International (ISI) in response to growing international demand for our technical expertise and research services in this area.
We have the goal of using our significant experience in the eradication or control of invasive plants and animals, and our extensive network of contacts to assist overseas organisations to achieve their invasive species objectives.
